The 34th IPI National Planning Conference, entitled ‘Planning To Lead The Way: Embracing Challenges & Creating Opportunities’ was held on the 26th and 27th of April at the Ormonde Hotel in Kilkenny. The conference examined the existing and future context of planning in Ireland and investigated new challenges and emerging opportunities for planners and the planning profession.  Topics explored in detail included the existing and future context of planning in Ireland, unfinished developments, health and planning, new perspectives on planning, flooding, and new advancements in planning technology.
