Having worked for almost a quarter of a century in the public service, in 2000, Brian McCutcheon, established a private planning practice in Cork, now known as McCutcheon Halley Chartered Planning Consultants. 

Jim Keogan (now retired) and Paula Galvin are appointed as Dublin-based members of the Leadership Team leading the company's Dublin expansion plans.

The company is now in its 23rd year and counting! With a wealth of experience behind it, McCutcheon Halley is a thriving national practice, managed by six members of the Senior Management Team, that offers clients a full range of planning and environmental services. Planning has evolved considerably since the introduction of the Planning Act to Ireland just over 50 years ago. The environmental implications of proposals are now a fundamental aspect of development management. McCutcheon Halley has responded to this change and many of our team are qualified in an environmental discipline as well as holding planning qualifications.
