McCutcheon Halley acted as planning consultants for Bellmount Development Limited in acquiring planning permission from An Bord Pleanála for the construction of 40 student accommodation apartments at Kellehers Auto Centre, Wilton Road, Victoria Cross, Bishopstown, Cork.
The development will offer a variety in size of apartments ranging from one bed studio apartments to 8 bed apartments. Included in the permission is an abundant of student amenities consisting of 2 study rooms, media area, games area, ICT room, and the provision for landscaping and amenity areas including a courtyard space, a riverfront amenity and 2 rooftop terraces. The development sits in close proximity to University College Cork and The Cork University Hospital which is a location in great need of additional student accommodation.
